Installation and Technical Tips

  • Bumper Access: Replacing the headlight on the 2018–2020 Fit typically requires the partial removal of the front bumper cover to reach the lower mounting brackets. Use a plastic trim removal tool to release the clips safely and prevent paint damage.

  • Bulb Handling: When transferring your existing halogen bulbs or installing new ones, do not touch the glass with your bare fingers. Natural skin oils can cause the bulb to reach uneven temperatures and fail prematurely. If the glass is touched, clean it thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
