Installation and Technical Tips

  • Bumper Access: To access all mounting bolts on the 2009–2014 Murano, the front bumper cover must be partially lowered. Use a plastic trim tool to release the clips along the top grille and inside the wheel well to avoid scratching the paint.

  • Pre-Installation Test: Before fully re-attaching the bumper, connect the wiring harness to the new assembly and test all functions—including low beams, high beams, and turn signals—to ensure the connection is secure.

  • Alignment Adjustment: Once installed, use the vertical and horizontal adjustment screws on the back of the housing to align the light beams. Proper aiming ensures you have the best possible view of the road without causing glare for oncoming drivers.

  • Moisture Prevention: Ensure the rear bulb caps and wiring gaskets are fully seated. A loose cap is the primary cause of internal condensation in new headlight assemblies.
