Installation and Technical Tips
Paint Protection: Always use the included rubber or foam gaskets between the bracket and your Jeep's body. This prevents metal-on-metal contact, which can vibrate, scratch the paint, and lead to localized rust.
Hardware Prep: Jeep windshield hinge bolts are often painted over at the factory. Use a high-quality Torx bit (T40) and apply steady pressure to avoid stripping the bolt heads. Applying a small amount of penetrating oil 24 hours before installation is highly recommended.
Visibility Adjustment: When mirrors are relocated to the A-pillar, the passenger-side visibility can be slightly reduced due to the angle of the dashboard. Take a moment to sit in the driver's seat and fine-tune the mirror angle before tightening the final adjustment bolts.
Power Mirror Note: For 2011–2018 models equipped with power or heated mirrors, please note that relocating the mirror heads to the body will require disconnecting the electrical harness. Power adjustment and heating functions will be disabled unless custom wiring extensions are utilized.
