    Installation and Technical Tips

    • Safety Support: Before loosening the mounting bolts, use a floor jack and a wide block of wood to support the engine from the oil pan. The wood block is essential to distribute the weight and prevent damage to the aluminum oil pan.

    • Check for Fluid Leaks: Many modern mounts for the Chrysler 200 are hydraulic (fluid-filled). If you notice oily residue on the frame near the old mount, it has likely leaked its dampening fluid and lost its ability to absorb shock.
