Installation and Technical Tips

  • Diagnostic Check: Before installation, use a scan tool to confirm which rear wheel is reporting a "C" series chassis code. Visual inspection of the harness is also recommended, as off-road use can often lead to snagged or frayed wires.

  • Clean the Interface: When removing the old sensor from the knuckle, clean the mounting surface and the tone ring area with brake cleaner. Debris or rust buildup on the tone ring can cause "false" ABS activation even with a new sensor.

  • Proper Routing: Follow the factory routing path exactly. Use all included clips to secure the harness. On off-road models, improper routing can lead to the wire being pinched by suspension components during extreme articulation.
