Installation and Technical Tips
Safety Precautions: Always wear eye protection and work gloves when handling broken mirror glass. Even small shards can cause injury during removal.
Ease of Installation: This "Snap-On" unit replaces the entire glass and backing plate assembly. You do not need to glue the glass onto your old plate; simply tilt the mirror motor fully in one direction to gain leverage, pop off the old assembly, and press the new one onto the motor actuator until it clicks.

Pressure Management: When snapping the new mirror into place, apply even pressure across the center of the glass using a soft cloth or a flat palm. Applying concentrated pressure with your fingertips can crack the new convex lens.
Housing Inspection: Before installing the new glass, ensure the plastic motor actuator inside the mirror housing is intact and free of debris. If the motor clicks but the mirror doesn't move, the actuator may need repair before the new glass is installed.
