Installation and Technical Tips
Glass Stabilization: Before unbolting the old regulator, use painters tape or a glass suction cup to secure the window in the fully "up" position. This prevents the glass from falling and breaking inside the door shell during the exchange.
Vent Window Alignment: Because this model is for vehicles with vent glass, ensure the vertical division bar is properly aligned before tightening the regulator bolts. Misalignment can cause the glass to bind or put undue stress on the new motor.

Track Lubrication: While the door panel is off, clean the rubber window run channels. Applying a thin coat of silicone-based lubricant to the tracks will reduce friction, allowing the window to move faster and extending the life of your new motor.
Switch Diagnosis: If the new motor does not respond after installation, test your Master Power Window Switch. On 1989–1995 Toyota models, internal corrosion in the switch assembly is a very common cause of window failure.
