Installation and Technical Tips

• One-at-a-Time Method: To avoid crossing ignition wires or harness connectors, replace each coil and plug assembly one cylinder at a time.

• Torque Compliance: Use a torque wrench to seat the spark plugs. Aluminum cylinder heads are sensitive; over-tightening can strip threads, while under-tightening can lead to compression loss or plug ejection.

• Dielectric Grease: Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the inside of the ignition coil boot. This prevents the rubber from sticking to the spark plug porcelain and helps seal out moisture and debris.

• Gap Verification: While Iridium plugs are pre-set at the factory, it is always best practice to verify the gap with a feeler gauge. Avoid using "coin-style" gappers on Iridium tips, as the delicate electrode can be easily snapped or damaged.
