Installation and Technical Tips

• Component Transfer: Since this set is provided without bulbs and ballasts, you must carefully remove the HID ballast (located on the bottom of the old unit) and the D2S Xenon bulbs to transfer them. Check the condition of your ballast seals; if they appear flat or brittle, apply a thin layer of silicone grease to prevent water from entering the new housing.

• Bulb Integrity: When transferring your D2S bulbs, avoid touching the glass with your bare hands. The oils from your skin can cause the quartz glass to overheat and fail. If accidental contact occurs, clean the bulb with isopropyl alcohol before installation.

• Bumper Removal: Installing these headlights requires the partial removal of the front bumper cover. It is common for the plastic fender liner clips to break during this process; having a set of universal Nissan/Infiniti trim clips on hand will prevent delays.

• Condensation Prevention: Ensure all rear bulb covers and electrical connectors are fully seated and "clicked" into place. A secure seal is the most important factor in preventing internal fogging and moisture buildup in new headlight housings.
