Installation and Technical Tips

• Depressurize the System: Before starting work, ensure the fuel system pressure is relieved. Typically, this is done by removing the fuel pump relay or fuse and running the engine until it stalls to prevent fuel spray upon removal.

• O-Ring Lubrication: To ensure a proper seal and prevent the O-rings from tearing during installation, apply a light coat of clean engine oil or a dedicated silicone lubricant to the seals. Never install fuel O-rings "dry."

• Clean the Intake Ports: Use a soft-bristled brush and intake cleaner to remove carbon deposits from the injector seats in the intake manifold. Debris trapped in the port can cause a vacuum leak or prevent the injector from seating correctly.

• Simultaneous Replacement: While it is possible to replace a single injector, it is often recommended to replace them as a set or at least clean the remaining injectors. This ensures balanced fuel flow across all cylinders for a smoother-running engine.
