Installation and Technical Tips

  • Production Date Check: For 1993 Toyota Supra owners, verify your vehicle's production date on the door jamb sticker. This kit is specifically for models produced after May 1st, 1993.

  • The "Loaded" Torque Rule: To ensure the longevity of the new rubber bushings, do not perform the final torque on the inner pivot bolts while the car is hanging on jack stands. Lower the vehicle onto its wheels or support the lower control arm with a jack to simulate "ride height" before tightening. This prevents the rubber from being "pre-twisted," which causes rapid bushing failure.

  • Inspect the Camber Bolts: While replacing the upper arms, inspect your lower eccentric camber bolts. On these chassis, they are prone to seizing. Lubricating them now will ensure your alignment technician can make the necessary adjustments easily.

  • Mandatory Alignment: Any change to the upper control arm immediately affects your camber and toe-in settings. A professional four-wheel alignment is mandatory following installation to protect your tires and ensure the car tracks straight.
