Installation and Technical Tips

• Location Verification: Please note that these bushings are for the Axle-to-Sway Bar connection. If your van has a clunk coming from the frame area, you may also need the "Sway Bar to Frame" bushings, which are a different size.

• Cleaning the Bar: Before installing the new pair, use a wire brush to remove rust and debris from the sway bar. A smooth surface ensures the bushing can pivot slightly without binding or squeaking.

• Lubrication: Apply a liberal amount of silicone-based grease (non-petroleum) to the inside of the bushing. This reduces friction and prevents the annoying "squeak" often heard when navigating driveways or speed bumps.

• Bracket Alignment: When reinstalling the metal mounting brackets, start the bolts by hand to avoid cross-threading. Tighten the bolts evenly to ensure the bushing is compressed uniformly around the bar.
