Installation and Technical Tips
Level Surface Installation: For the best results, install these links while the vehicle is at its natural "ride height" (using a drive-on ramp or while parked on level ground). If the vehicle is jacked up on only one side, the sway bar will be under tension, making it difficult to align the new bolts.
Bushing Compression: Tighten the locking nut until the rubber bushings just begin to bulge slightly (matching the diameter of the metal washers). Do not over-tighten, as over-compressing the rubber can lead to premature cracking and failure.
Symmetry Matters: Always replace sway bar links in pairs. If one side has failed, the other has likely been subjected to the same environmental stress and mileage.
Hardware Preparation: Apply a small amount of anti-seize to the threads of the bolt to assist with any future suspension adjustments.
