Installation and Technical Tips

• Professional Alignment Mandatory: Because this kit replaces both inner and outer tie rods, your wheel alignment will be significantly altered. A professional four-wheel alignment must be performed immediately after installation to ensure the vehicle tracks straight and to prevent rapid tire destruction.

• Bellows Installation: When replacing the steering rack bellows, ensure the inner and outer clamps are seated tightly. This prevents dirt and moisture from entering the steering rack, which can lead to premature rack failure and leaks.

• Load the Suspension: Before performing the final torque on the control arm bushing bolts, the vehicle must be at its normal ride height. Do not tighten these bolts while the wheels are hanging in the air; doing so causes the rubber to "bind," leading to premature bushing failure within months.

• Joint Lubrication: Many modern ball joints and tie rods come as "sealed for life" units. However, if any components in your kit feature grease fittings (Zerk fittings), ensure they are lubricated with a high-quality chassis grease before your first drive.
