Installation and Technical Tips

• Transmission Seal Replacement: It is highly recommended to install a new transmission output seal when replacing the CV axle. Reusing an old seal often results in fluid leaks at the inboard joint interface, which can lead to CVT transmission issues.

• Check Transmission Fluid: During removal of the passenger side axle, a small amount of CVT fluid may escape from the transaxle. Ensure you check and top off the fluid level using the correct Nissan-approved CVT fluid after installation is complete.
