Installation and Technical Tips
Seal Replacement: It is highly recommended to install a new transmission output shaft seal when replacing the CV axle. Using a new seal prevents transmission fluid leaks that can occur if the original seal is disturbed or worn.

Torque to Spec: Always use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten the axle nut. Improper torque can lead to premature wheel bearing failure or unsecured axle seating.
Refer to your service manual for the exact foot-pound requirements. Fluid Check: Be prepared for a small amount of transmission fluid to leak when the old axle is removed. Keep a drain pan ready and ensure your transmission fluid level is topped off after the installation is complete.
ABS Alignment: Ensure the ABS sensor is clean and properly seated after installing the new axle to prevent "phantom" ABS light triggers caused by debris on the sensor tip.
