Installation and Technical Tips

• Diagnostic Signs: If you experience a "clicking" sound during sharp turns, or rhythmic vibrations during highway cruising, your CV joints likely have internal wear or a compromised seal.

• Seal Integrity: While the axles are removed, it is strongly recommended to inspect the transmission output shaft seals. Installing new seals at this stage can prevent future fluid leaks and labor costs.

• Spline Cleaning: Use a wire brush to clean the internal hub splines before inserting the new axle. A light coat of anti-seize or multi-purpose grease on the splines will facilitate a smoother installation and prevent future rust-bonding.

• Torque Warning: Always use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten the axle nut to the manufacturer’s specification. Failure to properly torque the nut can lead to premature wheel bearing failure or axle nut loosening.
