Installation and Technical Tips

• Seal Safety: When inserting the inboard end of the axle, ensure it is aligned perfectly with the intermediate shaft or transmission output. Applying a small amount of transmission fluid to the splines will help it slide in smoothly without damaging the delicate transmission seals.

• ABS Integration: Even if your vehicle is not equipped with ABS, this axle will function correctly. The tone ring will simply act as a spacer and will not interfere with non-ABS steering knuckles.

• Torque Requirement: The 32 mm hub nut must be torqued to the manufacturer’s specification (verify for your specific model, typically between 150–180 ft-lbs). Failure to reach proper torque can cause the wheel bearing to loosen, while over-torquing can damage the CV joint.

• Boot Clearance: After installation, rotate the steering from lock-to-lock to ensure the new neoprene boots do not contact any suspension components or brake lines.
