Installation and Technical Tips

• Measurement is Critical: These vehicles were often produced with multiple rotor size options (e.g., 280mm vs 296mm). Please verify your existing front rotor diameter is approximately 11.65 inches before installation to ensure caliper clearance.

• Coating Break-In: The G-Coating on the hats and vanes stays on for long-term protection. The coating on the friction surface will be safely removed by the pads during the first few stops. Do not use sandpaper or chemicals to remove the coating from the friction area.

• Hardware Maintenance: Always clean the caliper bracket guide rails with a wire brush and apply a high-temperature silicone brake lubricant. This ensures the pads move freely and prevents the "stuck pad" syndrome that leads to uneven wear.

• Lug Nut Safety: Use a torque wrench to tighten wheel lugs to factory specifications (typically 100 lb-ft for these models) in a star pattern. Over-tightening with an impact wrench can lead to rotor distortion and lateral runout (pedal pulsation).
