Installation and Performance Tips
Bleeding the System: After installing new calipers, the brake system must be bled to remove trapped air. Start at the wheel furthest from the master cylinder (Passenger Rear) and work your way forward to ensure a firm pedal.
Copper Washers: Always use the new copper crush washers provided in the kit for the banjo bolt (brake line) connection. Reusing old washers is the leading cause of slow leaks at the caliper.
Matching Components: For the best performance and aesthetic, pair these red calipers with high-performance ceramic pads and slotted or drilled rotors.
Cleaning: While the powder coating is durable, use only mild soap and water to clean the calipers. Harsh acid-based wheel cleaners can dull the red finish over time.
