Critical Installation Requirements

• Replace the Strainer: A new fuel strainer (not included) must be installed with this pump. Using an old, clogged strainer will cause the motor to overheat and void the warranty.

• Tank Cleaning: Sediment at the bottom of the fuel tank is the leading cause of premature pump failure. Ensure the tank is thoroughly cleaned and flushed before installing the new unit.

• Electrical Connection: Inspect the factory wiring harness and connector pins for signs of melting or corrosion. High resistance in the wiring can limit the pump's performance and life span.
