Installation and Technical Tips

• Verify the Harness: Before replacing the sensor, inspect the electrical connector for oil contamination or brittle wiring. Clean the connector with electrical contact cleaner if residue is found to ensure a clear signal.

• The "Angled" Check: Many Nissan 1.8L engines used both straight and angled connectors for the camshaft and crankshaft sensors. Visually compare your old sensor to the new unit to ensure the plug orientation matches your wiring harness.
